Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce or pesto/white sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or vegan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni or chicken, sausage, tofu
  • 1/4 cup fresh vegetables bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach
  • Fresh basil leaves optional
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes balsamic glaze, fresh arugula

Instructions
 

  • Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  • Combine flour, salt, yeast mixture, and olive oil; stir into dough.
  • Knead for 5 minutes, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll dough into a 10-inch circle; place on parchment or pizza stone.
  • Spread sauce, leaving a crust border.
  • Add cheese, toppings, and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with basil, balsamic glaze, or red pepper flakes. Slice and enjoy!
