Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour extra for dusting
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast 2 ¼ tsp
  • 1 cup warm water 110°F
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder optional
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni or other meats
  • 1 small bell pepper sliced
  • ½ cup red onions thinly sliced
  • ½ cup mushrooms sliced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for crust

Instructions
 

  • Prepare dough: Mix flour, sugar, salt, yeast, warm water, and olive oil. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Roll out dough: Stretch dough into a 16-inch circle on a floured surface.
  • Add sauce: Spread pizza sauce, leaving a small border.
  • Add cheese and toppings: Layer cheese and your choice of toppings.
  • Bake: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Bake pizza for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  • Serve: Let cool, slice, and garnish with fresh basil or olive oil.
