  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tsp dried or fresh sage
  • ½ tsp thyme optional
  • 1 egg optional, for binding
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ingredients : In a large bowl, mix ground beef with all seasonings, herbs, and optional egg or breadcrumbs.
  • Mix Thoroughly : Use your hands or a spoon to mix until well combined. Don’t overmix.
  • Shape Sausages : Form into small patties, links, or leave loose for crumbles.
  • Cook the Sausages : Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties or links for 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  • Check Doneness : Ensure sausages reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • Rest and Serve : Let rest for 1–2 minutes, then serve with your favorite breakfast sides.
