Ingredients
  

  • Chicken of the Woods mushrooms – 2 cups cleaned and sliced
  • Butter or olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves minced
  • Salt – ½ tsp or to taste
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Paprika – ½ tsp optional
  • Fresh thyme or parsley – 1 tbsp chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp for brightness, optional

Instructions
 

  • Prep the mushrooms – Clean and slice the Chicken of the Woods mushrooms.
  • Heat the pan – Melt butter or heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté garlic – Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Cook mushrooms – Add mushrooms, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
  • Finish and serve – Sprinkle with fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve warm.
