- Vegan Chicken Substitute
- Tofu pressed and cubed, seitan (sliced), or jackfruit (shredded)
- Spices & Seasonings
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- Black pepper to taste
- Other Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive or coconut oil
- 1 zucchini sliced
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 cup cauliflower florets
- 2 tbsp almond or coconut flour optional, for crispiness
Prepare Substitute:
Press tofu, slice seitan, or shred jackfruit.
Season & Coat:
Mix spices in a bowl. Toss the vegan chicken substitute to coat. Optionally, coat lightly with flour for crispiness.
Sauté:
Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté substitute for 5–7 minutes (4–5 mins for jackfruit) until golden.
Add Veggies:
Stir in zucchini, bell pepper, and cauliflower. Cook for 3–5 mins until tender.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle fresh herbs before serving.
