Ingredients
  

For the Batter:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose or gluten-free flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 large egg or flaxseed egg for vegan
  • 1 ¼ cups milk dairy or plant-based
  • 3 tbsp melted butter or neutral oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For Decoration:

  • Chocolate chips eyes
  • Sliced strawberries nose
  • Pretzel sticks antlers
  • Whipped cream optional

Optional Add-Ons:

  • Maple syrup or honey
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Batter: Mix dry ingredients in one bowl, wet ingredients in another, then combine until smooth.
  • Heat Skillet: Grease and heat skillet over medium heat.
  • Shape Pancakes: Pour batter to form one large circle (face) and two smaller circles (ears).
  • Cook Pancakes: Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden.
  • Decorate: Assemble pancakes with chocolate chip eyes, strawberry nose, and pretzel antlers. Serve with syrup or whipped cream.
