- Cake: 2 ½ cups flour 2 ½ tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 cup butter, 2 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 1 ½ tsp vanilla, 1 cup milk, pastel food coloring.
- Frosting: 1 ½ cups butter 6 cups powdered sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 4-5 tbsp heavy cream, edible food coloring.
- Decoration: Fondant unicorn horn & ears sprinkles or glitter.
Prepare Cake:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 3 8-inch pans.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Alternate adding dry mix and milk.
Divide batter, tint with food coloring. Bake for 25-30 mins. Cool.
Make Frosting:
Beat butter, add powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream to adjust consistency. Tint with food coloring.
Assemble:
Frost between layers, apply crumb coat, then finish frosting.
Decorate:
Add fondant horn, ears, and sprinkles.
